Solve problems with hectic winds

Description
Sometimes hectic winds can cause overspeed or too quick climb or descent.
Perhaps an option should be provided (either in Preferences or in the Connect page, or both) that makes certain checks less stringent.

An even better solution would be to use a sliding window average of the winds for a few seconds to smooth out the sudden changes.
