| Description |
It basically requires a storage space on the server, where the files are extracted to as they appear in the filesystem (or in the dist directory after running makeinst.bat). The updater should know about this location, and automatically download the updated files. Perhaps a manifest should be provided with the checksums of the files and that manifest should be copied into the installation directory as well. The update should run when starting the program, but a menu option should be given to disable automatic updates and another one to update manually. Here the update server should be given. If automatic updates are enabled, and they fail, the option should be given to specify a new update server. |

The infrastructure should be implemented to allow the user to log in and download the flights booked. The password should be stored in cleartext (in a config file that is readable only to the user on real operation systems), so that we could display the right amount of dots and allow normal editing. It makes no sense to store the MD5 sum, as that should be sent anyway. |

The various data set for the flight should be presented in wizard-like manner. Like in the previous logger, but with real forward/backward buttons. Some of the transitions should be enabled only in the correct state of the flight, but it should always be possible to go backwards and at least see data already entered. |
