The parking brake should not be used to detect the PARKING state

The reason is that during taxi in the pilot may be instructed to hold short at a runway. In this case the parking brake must be armed.

The following proposals exist

• Eliminate the PARKING stage altogether, and the condition for the END stage is that the engines are not running (N1<0.5) and the parking brake is armed.

• The arming of the parking brake should trigger a new stage, called something HOLDING OR PARKING, but it may go back to taxi if the parking brake is released.
